Hands in the Earth Day

Hi Everyone,
We had a wonderful day at the Hands in the Earth day on Saturday 8th Feb. We broke even on food and have leftovers for our bush dance. We have a winning formula in Theresa organising catering and Kristi doing her work with the children. I almost feel talked out! It was a great day. Two young families came so a great introduction to the school grounds. The river bush area holds space for big and small groups and I really feel we are building momentum and expect more people at the April date.
This Saturday 15th Feb, we have our sausage sizzle & bake sale outside the Supa IGA from 7am set up to 2pm. Golden Hill Fiddlers will be playing to promote the Bush Dance. We would love to see staff come along to support it if you are in town.
We had our first P&F meeting last Wednesday with 6 people attending, two new - Hannah & Sandra. Sandra in particular had wonderful input and ideas about the Class Carer role and using them more to recruit volunteers. P&F Meeting minutes will be out this week. Hopefully we will get our Association status this week too.
Have a great week,
Penny, Chair P&F
