Big congratulations to our Golden Hill students and alumni on their performances in the recent Albany Eisteddfod and Showcase Concert held from May 20th to 23rd!  River Duggan and Michael Perrella, both from Class 5, did extremely well in their violin categories.

The boys received:

• equal 1st U11 fiddling 
• highly commended Grade 3 classical 
• River also: 1st for his U12 fiddle/ guitar duet

River was also selected to play the fiddle/guitar duet in the Eisteddfod Showcase concert on Friday 24th of May, which is a very big honour.

Class 8 student Sophie Wybenga placed first for her fiddling piece - congratulation Sophie!

Class 4 student Arcadia Atkins entered for the very first time - well done Arcadia!

GHSS alumni Sienna Collyer (playing piano), Evie Francis and Poppyanna Fisken (playing violin) also won their categories and featured in the Showcase concert.

Fantastic violin playing and music making everyone - the school is very proud of you!
