10^th Anniversary – Mad Hatter Tea Party - Community Event

headspace Albany proudly invites you to the 10^th Anniversary of the Mad Hatter Tea Party community event on Friday 4^th October from 10am – 1pm at the Albany Town Square. For 10 years, headspace Albany has collaborated with local mental health support services to hold a Tea Party to kick off Mental Health Week and have promoted these mental health services to the Great Southern community. This has become an important space to continue holding discussions around mental health, breaking down barriers to asking for and accessing support, learning where support is available in our local community, and reducing the stigma around mental health. The event is held in the second week of the school holidays, which means young people and families can have an active part in the day. Community members are encouraged to dress up Mad Hatter style and enter the infamous Best Hat competition at 12pm with prizes awarded for Best Hat. There will also be a special Scavenger Hunt with prizes, free live entertainment, stalls with free activities, free cake, and coffee and food available to purchase.
