The Boodja and Nature anchor us deeply with respect and gratitude.  The children have been learning about fire.  Class 2's start and tend their own small fires in groups.  Class 1's collect the wood and have been learning to leave the pieces the Earth has already claimed.

After the river/ bilya flooded, many tested their courage in the cold deep puddles.  We dried their clothes and they watched fascinated by the wind that rose above the fire.  Experiential learning deepens respect for the elements.
