School day as per normal

Earlier recess at 10.40 eating time 10.45 play until 11.00

11.00 to 11.15 Make garlands on verandah with parent assistance

Gather around 4 square court, all children including Kindy children

11.15 to 11.25 – Acknowledgement to Country (Cl 5/6 children) – All Sing ‘Nidja Noonga Boodja Koort’

11.25 to 11.30 – Welcome to Spring Festival 

11.30 to 11.40 – Spring Story 

11.40 to 12.20 – Class 1 to 6 performances

      * Spring Round – Snr Choir

      * Spring Dance – Class 1 / 2 - Violin accompaniment by Class 4

      * I can See clearly now -  Class 4

      *  Here comes the sun –  All sing – Violin accompaniment

      *  Choral Poetry – Class 5/6

      *  Golden Hill Fiddlers will play 2 songs

      *  Maypole Dance – Class 3 – Class 5/6 to accompany with string instruments

12.20 to 12.30 – Children picnic with families on verandahs and lawn between classrooms

1.05 – all meet in Spring Teams on grassed areas 

1.10 – Games 

3 legged race

running relay

egg and spoon

skipping race

sack race

tug o war

2.30 – Festival Concludes 

All students to accompany teachers to classrooms

2.50 children dismissed
