Book Week What a wonderful Friday it was last week, celebrating Book Week with a Dress Up as a Book Character Day! I was ever so disappointed to be sick in bed and to miss out on all the fun. However, the photos that appear further on in the newsletter are testament to the wonderful time that was had by all!

Open Afternoon and Bush Dance – October 19thTo mark 100 years of Steiner / Waldorf Education, at Golden Hill we have decided to mark the auspicious occasion of the 100th Anniversary by hosting an Open Afternoon on Saturday, October 19th before the Bush Dance. Classes will be open and a program of presentations prepared between 4pm and 6pm. We would like all students to attend, and their family and friends join us also in celebration of Steiner education and our school. It is wonderful opportunity to showcase our school to the wider community and after the open classes and presentations, we can adjourn to the hall for an evening Bush Dance. Funds raised from the Bush Dance evening will be sent to support the Bona Fide Steiner Kindergarten in India, that we have a connection to through two staff members, Denise and Mary Lou.
Spring Festival will soon be upon us! The children are all working on a variety of performances for the Festival on Thursday, September 19th. Please see the program further in the newsletter and we look forward to receiving greenery to make the garland bases on Wednesday and flowers to decorate them on the Thursday.
